Kantor Taylor's practice is focused on real estate development and finance. We are experienced with negotiating purchase agreements and ground leases; conducting due diligence; resolving title, survey and boundary issues; negotiating environmental settlements; negotiating construction and architecture contracts, residential and retail leasing; and negotiating management and service contracts. We have helped our clients develop apartment communities, mixed-use projects, residential condominiums, schools and community facilities.

We assist our clients in the finance of the acquisition and development of their projects. We negotiate various forms of debt financing, including secured real estate finance, mezzanine financing, leasehold financing, construction loans, portfolio loans and tax-exempt bond financing. We also help our clients with equity financing whether negotiating an equity investment or syndicating partnership opportunities. We have specialized expertise in Low Income Housing Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits and Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit equity investment structures.
