Andrea Sato

Andrea Sato practices real estate law with a particular focus on the representation of nonprofit, for-profit, and public entities in financing and developing multi-family housing. Andrea represents clients through all stages of the real estate development process, including site acquisition, due diligence and project financing. She works with clients utilizing Low Income Housing Tax Credits; tax-exempt bonds; and local, state and federal funding sources to finance the construction of affordable housing. In addition, she represents developers of for-sale housing and is experienced in drafting condominium declarations, sales documents, and CC&Rs. She also serves as borrower's counsel on tax-exempt bond financed projects for nonprofit institutions, including capital facilities projects.
Prior to joining Kantor Taylor Nelson & Boyd, Andrea worked for the Securities Division of the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions in the regulation securities brokerages and brokers. Prior to law school, she managed market research for Coinstar, Inc. of Bellevue, WA.
