Sarah Perez

Sarah Perez practices real estate law with a focus on assisting nonprofit, for-profit, and public entities to finance and develop affordable family housing and community facilities. Sarah represents clients through all stages of the real estate development process, including site acquisition, due diligence and project financing. She works with clients utilizing Low Income Housing Tax Credits; New Markets Tax Credits; Tax-Exempt Bonds; and local, state and federal funding sources.

Prior to practicing law, Sarah served as a project manager for the Los Angeles County Community Development Commission administering HUD-funded HOME loans and local tax-increment set-aside investments in affordable housing developments. Sarah also worked in the nonprofit sector as a housing advocate and development director for a homeless services organization. In her free time, Sarah is busy exploring the Pacific Northwest.
